Hello

If I use a MAP in a form and run the program, then a message appears that "Maps JavaScript API" is not supportet in the used browser.

I have installed several browsers: IE11 (old), Edge and Firefox.
Firefox is up to date and is set up as my default browser.

I guess, that MVD always uses the IE11 and with that MAPs are not running any more.

Beginning in August 2021, Internet Explorer 11 users have been seeing a warning message at the top of maps.
End users should begin using a different supported browser.
Maps JavaScript API and Maps Embed API support for Internet Explorer 11 will be entirely discontinued in November 2022.

Where can I change the browser used by MVD?

Hi

I have a (master) form with some buttons. If I click on the buttons then other (sub) forms will be opened. This all works as expected.
I want these (sub) forms to look like being opened in a specific area of the masterform. They should be aligned (top, bottom, right, left) to the margins of a panel or something like that of the masterform.  Is this possible somehow?

Hi,

It's just a small bug in new version 6.5

If you use the new styles with big borders (like for example SKY) and you enlarge the form to full screen, then the border will be invisible on the main screen where the form was opened. If you have more monitors connected, then you can see the "missing" borders on the other screens.

This is less of a problem the smaller the border is, but anyway, it seems to be wrong calculated, even when the border is small.

Hello,

I found your (very interesting!) library application and downloaded it. Running the prebuilt Exe it works.
But if I open the .vdb with my MVD 6.3 and try to run it (without any changes) then an error message comes up:
unrecognized token...

Could you check this issue occasionally please?

Hi all,

for some reasons I tried very simple grid and stumbled into 4 issues you can see in the picture.
Can you take a look at it please? What am I doing wrong?

I tried to correct a simple typo after I got an correct error message, that a time of 200 minutes of course is wrong.
So I clicked into that field (Time01) positioned the cursor and then pressed delete to delete one number. But although I was editing the field, the question appeared, whether I want to delete the whole record or not. I think, this is not correct. Either I have marked the record and then want to delete it or I'm editing a field and then want to delete only something within the field.

Editing and then pressing Enter with an emtpy field (Text01) leads to an Access Violation error.

I add a column Image01 to the form (only for displaying the records). Then I tried to add a new record where just some text fields should be filled then an error message appears, that I have 8 values for 9 columns. (I did not want to put in the image that way (I know that I have to do that in another way). The part of the message "8 Values" means that MVD recognized that it is not possible to insert a image that way. However, the following part of the message "9 columns" means that MVD immediately forgot what "8 values" means.

The SQL query for debugging is to short to see which of the fields is causing the error.

I tried to have more than one sequence of "taborders" to get the ability to build input blocks.
If I jump from field to field and I'm on the last field of a block, then I want to jump back to the first field of this block.
If I click into another block then I want to go around within this other block.
Clicking on a button brings me into the button block. Pressing TAB there lets me go round within the buttons.
I tried many combinations with tabstop=false and I also tried to write other taborder numbers into the taborder properties of the objects. Nothing worked as expected.

Q1: Is that even possible without scripting?
If not, I suggest a property like e.g. "NextTabNumber". If there is a value in this property for a field, then MVD jumps to this taborder number instead of following the regular taborder.

During the tests I could see, that when I'm on the last button (Tab11 in the example) and I jump to the first field (Tab0),
the first button (Tab8) will get a blue frame as if it would have focus. But the cursor is blinking in text field (Tab0), which means that this field has the focus.

Q2: What does that frame really mean?
