Hello vovka3003, Also for me the translation of Yes and No work very well: Translate('Yes', 'Ja');  Translate('No', 'Nee').

But when I use the roll based access control also I have many troubles with the translations besides your problem with the translation of 'Wrong username/password'.

Examples: (1) new password confirmation not correct, (2) password cannot be empty, (3) password successfull changed, (4) wrong password.

This is very frustating because I cannot offer a completely translated app to my customers. I hope somebody will come with a solution.

Have a nice day

Hello K245, thank you so much for your quick answer.

If it is not to much trouble for you, can you please give me a short example of code, for I do not understand your answer.

Everyone thanks for their reactions. But, as a Dutchman I need the possibility of the _user roles functionality in combination with the possibility to translate everything. It is so frustating and unprofessional to present a partial translated programma to not English users. Is their absolute nobody (in the enviroment of Dmitry) who can add translation possibilties for missing issues?

Hi sdpc62 and k245,

Thanks for your reaction and sorry my question was not clear.

Normaly the syntax is: Translate ('Wrong_username/password.'), ('Verkeerde naam/wachtwoord');

This does not work for me.

Any tip or solution?

Kind regards, Kees

I want to translate the errormessage "Wrong username/password." I have several translations, but this I can not find. Does anybody know it?

Thanks

Hello sibprogsistem, I have downloaded your program (kitchen.rar) and I am very surprised by this. My compliments. It's a great challenge to control the entire script (and interface) as a study object. It will take a while before I have gone through everything. Can I occasionally ask you a question about this if I don't understand something? For example, I already have the question how (where in the script) you disabled the default menu items (File-Options-Over).

Hi Brian, thanks for your quick answer. It works perfect.

I have another question. Can I extend the outcome of the calculation field, e.g. 45, with the text “ Year”

I tried to extend your solution with “+ ‘Year’, but it does not work.

So you have any suggestion?

Hello,

I am looking for a formula for a calculated field that determines the age of a person from the difference between the date of birth and the current date. I tried a solution from Derek but his solution does not work with Mysql. Can someone help me?

Hello Dmitry. I installed version 4.3. In the menu the Treeview-option has no label. The option on the left has the label "Table Grid" and the option on the right has the label "Counter". It's not very important, but can be corrected in a next updata?
