How do I load a plain text file text into a memo field from MVD project root and sub folders?

Hi AD1408,
I think this might be what you need (see attachment).
I've also added the 'vertical scroll bar' property to the memo1 object in the example - I normally find that I need it as this is the way that I set up my help files.

Hello AD1408, Derek

To bounce on the Derek's script, find in attachment a third way allowing the end user to choose the file of his choice in the folder of his choice
using OpenDialog
