Topic: MySQL over cellular

Hello,
I am planning a MVD project to be run on desktop. In the future, it could also be desirable for remote users to run a MVD application on Windows tablets with cellular connection and access the MySQL data for both read and write. Has anybody tried this or is there any reason why I shouldn't be thinking of this as a possibility.
