Navigation on form

I realize that navigation buttons are a future feature for this program but in the meantime is there any way this could be done with current tools (queries and inbuilt pascal scrpt functions).
What  I would like to build is a form that is based on a query with buttons to move forrward and backward  (first and last also) through the dataset. This  is something  that is common in most databases I am familiar with.
