Topic: Date to str conversion

Hi, I have a date field and a UID(number to string) that I want to convert into a string to make a batch control number: The string would read "04/17/2023 - 1" and 2 and 3 etc. I have searched the board here and didn't see any threads. I have been pulling my hair out to make this work. Any suggestions? Thanks

Is this the sort of thing that you're after (see attached example).
Please note that the example uses dd/mm/yyyy date format so you might want to swap days and months around (or it may already display correctly depending on your PC settings).
