Topic: [Solved] Funky / funny error message

Hello everyone,

The application I'm developing seems to work correctly, there are no bugs or crash while I use it, but when I close it here is what I have :

When it's not ntdll.dll, it's sql3dll.dll.

Anyone already had that kind of behaviour ?

Cheers

Mathias

PS : yes, don't laugh, my app is called DRAMA... It's an acronym smile

Seems there is a loop going on somewhere in the background, that I did not stop correctly smile smile smile

I'll tidy up things and write you a little procedure to reproduce the problem, and send you the project.

Re: [Solved] Funky / funny error message

Did you update any driver such as video drivers by any chance?

Re: [Solved] Funky / funny error message

Hello all,

@Tcoton : no I did not update anything. In fact, I work this update thing the other way : I only update when something does not work any more... because I too many times updated when not needed, and encountered problems afterwards smile

@Dmitry : I received your corrected version and I must say that, at the moment, I works without  problems. Compared your code to mine, and foud a double quote you added around a number. I can't believe I missed this one ! smile

Appart from that, the dll version change seems to have corrected the problem, no more error message.
Does this mean that my code is more or less stable ?

Did you see any misconceptions or noticed any "horrible" code blocks ?

Thank you for you time Dmitry, I really appreciate

Cheers and a good week-end to all

mathmathou
I just update DLLs for SSL connection, don't look any code in your project.

Dmitry.

Re: [Solved] Funky / funny error message

I can't remember in which other post I thanked you Dmitry, but I did smile

Anyway, let's do things right and thank you here. The dll update resolved my problem and everything works fine now.

Thanks a million time

Cheers
