Topic: Lag Using Image

I am using an image as a background in many sections of my DB and it has a significant lag when you open the program itself or the window that the image is located.
I tried compressing the image and that delay was less.
But is there anything i can do to make that lag even less?
My image size is about 275 kb , not much for an image.
I want it to look descent on fullscreen thats why i need a 1080 resolution.
Any other tweak to make it more responsive?

I meet samle problem as you.
In my application, I had a background image JPG (740 Ko).
I met also significant lag to open it.
So I converted it in SVG : I was coming from 740 to 400 Ko, but component Image into MVD doesn't support this format.
So I took again my JPEG and saved it again but with a compression ratio lower (20%).
Well I was from 740 Ko  to 314 Ko.
A little better but probably can do better. Lag is less important.

I believe that if the background image is not necessary, we can do without, and then use a gradient fill.
