Topic: how does the filter works in the object inspector for a combobox ?

I have a combo box and in the object inspector there is the filter . How does it work ?
in your help manual this is in Russian language and I can not understand it.

could somebody send me an example?

Hello Again,
Attached is the same project as before.
In the 'form_models' I have added the 'manufacturer combo-box 5 times to show you some examples of how the filter can work.
1.  no filter
2.  exact match
3.  starts with...
4.  contains
5.  ends with
You can also use >, >=, <, <=
