Hello everyone.
How to translate this form?
Thanks
I don't quite understand what you are looking for.
Is this a form you have created yourself?
Hello CDB
Thank you for your interest.
My question refers to the box that opens after selecting "Change your password"...
Thanks
I believe the only way is to make your own form and menu bar.
If you look at K295 website or search here on this forum vk.com he has a program that would demonstrate a log on program and menu.
I think the program is part of his online course, the complete program is called i18n
Hello lejoso
Is the form you want to translate a form that you created yourself ?
If yes, you can translate the labels without problem
If not, as CDB suggests, create your own form, unless you have the source code for the form, in which case you have the solution.
Where did you find this form for changing passwords?
JB
Hi All,
The 'change password' form (and the associated 'log on' form) are part of the role based access control functionality that Dmitry introduced a while ago. At the moment, I don't believe it's possible to amend either of these forms.
You can, however, alter the 'Change Password' menu option to point to your own form (see the attached example - the passwords are the same as the UserIDs).
That is, however, the easy bit as any change you subsequently make to your password is then encrypted as it's saved and I don't know what type of encryption is being used - so what I typed in as my new password is not saved in the correct encryption and I effectively end up locking myself out!
Perhaps someone else, or Dmitry, can help.
Derek.
Thank you CDB. I will look at the vk.com article.
jean.brezhonek i didn't create the form. As Derek said the function was implemented by Dmitriy therefore the difficulty.
Many thanks for the reply.
Derek, I think I will have to do as you indicated, unless Dmitriiy makes the code available for change.
Best Regards.
Hi Kees,
I hadn't seen that link before. It's exactly what's needed.
Thanks,
Derek.
Hi Derek. I remembered the same question I asked when 6.3 arrived. Because I want A Dutch version of my programs I am always interested in translation possibillities.

Hi Jean, I already use it. Thans for your topic
Olá a todos.
Ainda não consegui.
A questão é o nome form 'Change your password'.
Esse que será apresentado para o usuário trocar a sua senha...
Ola Legoso,
There are two forms - one is just for your password, the other is to change your password, your role, your contact information etc (this one is more likely to be used by administrators).
I think the form you want to translate into Portuguese is the one just for passwords. Please have a look at the attachment. The passwords are the same as the user IDs.
Unfortunately, the confirmation messages that are displayed ('Wrong UserName/Password', 'You have changed your password successfully' etc etc) can't be translated at the moment. I believe that Dmitry needs to add them to a list of 'standard messages' first after which you can translate them into any language you require.
Hope this helps (and apologies if the Portuguese translations aren't very good!),
Derek.
Sorry.
I posted my question in my native language. Sorry.
Great, Derek! You saved my day once again.
I got the translation.
Thank you all for your collaboration.
Bet regards!
