Topic: Add field to existing table. Cannot enter/save data into it

I have an existing table, and needed to add another field. Then added appropriate controls on forms. All existing controls work as they did. This one (REAL) will allow typing in, but does not save the data. All other fields on the form save changes as always.

Hi,
If you upload your project then someone could tell you for definite.
But as it stands, it's likely to be one of two things;
1.  On the 'save' button, you have not added the new field.
2.  You have added the edit box to your form but have not associated that edit box with a table / field.

Both answers are correct in this situation. Only to reveal another issue. (see next post)
