Topic: Large text string

I am trying to save a large text string, which is getting truncated when saving to a text field.  What is recommended? Using a BLOB field? If so, how can I save and retrieve text data from the image type field?  I want to be able to view the text in a memo type field.

Assistance appreciated.

How large was the text?
Checked 60kb of text, all right.
