I would like to know if someone has deployed mvd on windows 11 and what is the last supported version of mysql compatible with mvd. Do we have an upcoming new release ? Is the project always up and running ?

Dmitry, do you have progressed on a web solution since last year. Many thx for your reply. MVD was really a mature product and really usefull to code quickly products that has to discuss via serial port. Possible in web but more complex.

Is it possible to know if there is a new version in the pipe or if the product will be discontinued anytime soon.
I would like to build a CRM solution on it, need to know if this excellent product will continue and be compatible with the new generation of Windows (windows 11, windows server).

Hello,
I would like to use MySQL instead of SQLite. Is it possible to know which version is compatible with mvd ?
I am currently using MySQL 8.0.31 and I have the following error message :
#8004Client doesn't support authenticated protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client.
Do you know how to solve this issue ?

Hello,
I have 3 tables in cascade and it seems that it isn't possible to retrieve the data from the first level.
I have sex -> user -> agenda.
In the tablegrid output of the search, I cannot retrieve the sex of the user.(I have 4 records represented instead of 2).
If someone could look at this simple project and help me to solve the issue.

Thanks v_pozidis, it works for the resolution screen, not for the zoom which is by default at 200 % instead of 100 %. I will try to do a mix between this reso.exe soft and scaleby fonction at the form level. It seems to be very helpfull anyway as it solves a portion of the pb. I will keep you updated for the zoom once I find a solution. If you have another idea....

I have found a solution with Scaleby which manage de scaling at the form level but not at the application level which means that the classical menus + File, Options, About + title of the application are really big and icons to minimize close on the top right are really small. (twice smaller than expected).
For the size of the form, screen.height and screen.width allows to manage the resolution. Is there any script that manage the change of the screen size . Anchoring would be a solution but I don't see any place where we speak about that.

I am trying to deploy my MVD solution for a client on a Microsoft Surface 4 and I face several challenges :
- the resolutions screen is huge : 2736 x 1824 with a 200% zoom for text. It is the default configuration. If I change the configuration to 1960*1080 with 100% zoom, the MVD is better but the others applications are unworkable. I have to keep the recommended configuration.
The impact is that buttons, windows borders of forms are incredibly small. I have change the size of the button : a button on 25*23 size must be changed into 12*19 in order to be almost ok even the size is really small. The cross to close the form is very very small, difficult to close the page because you have to be really precise with your mouse.
Do you have a way to manage that ?
The customer switches from portrait to lanscape with its tablet by turning it : the screen doesn't turn like the other apps in my MVD app.
Do you know how to handle this situation ?
I have seen several script in order to manage screen size. Do you know if there is smthg that could help on these pbs ?
My application is an invoice app, nothing really complex but I would like to have this working on this Surface 4.
